The Application Developer II will work within the Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) and collaborate with data scientists, clients, and internal teams to develop and support web/UI applications. The role involves understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. The developer will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and integration, ensuring applications are delivered on time and meet business needs.
- Collaborate with data science teams, clients, and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Analyse, design, and develop web/UI applications.
- Support the full software development lifecycle including development, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure application software is delivered on time and meets quality standards.
- Perform systems design and application development.
- Work on database development and application integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with team members on small to large, complex projects.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with front-end technologies such as: Angular, HTML and CSS.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with Python-based web frameworks, especially Django.
- Intermediate SQL skills.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with systems design, development, testing, and integration methodologies.
- Minimum 3 years of advanced programming and application design experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or similar) – Preferred.
