API Developer / Application Developer
Description

The API Developer will be responsible for translating application requirements into web-based solutions using modern and emerging technologies. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting front-end, back-end, cloud, and big data solutions while working closely with development teams and customers. 

Responsibilities
  • Design, architect, implement, and support front-end and back-end applications.
  • Develop cloud-based and Salesforce solutions.  
  • Design and maintain infrastructure and backend applications.  
  • Create and maintain architecture blueprints and technical designs.  
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and tools for business needs.  
  • Analyse and compare technical solutions to determine the best fit.  
  • Ensure development activities follow standards and best practices.  
  • Collaborate with teams and customers to support big data solutions. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related technical field, OR 5 years of equivalent experience.  
  • 3+ years of experience in at least two of the following areas: System Analysis System Programming, Application Programming and Equipment Analysis  
  • 1+ year of experience developing applications using web-based technologies and Internet protocols.  
  • Experience with technologies such as: HTML, JavaScript, Java, CGI Applications and PERL.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline preferred.  
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
