The API Developer will be responsible for translating application requirements into web-based solutions using modern and emerging technologies. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting front-end, back-end, cloud, and big data solutions while working closely with development teams and customers.
- Design, architect, implement, and support front-end and back-end applications.
- Develop cloud-based and Salesforce solutions.
- Design and maintain infrastructure and backend applications.
- Create and maintain architecture blueprints and technical designs.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and tools for business needs.
- Analyse and compare technical solutions to determine the best fit.
- Ensure development activities follow standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with teams and customers to support big data solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related technical field, OR 5 years of equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in at least two of the following areas: System Analysis System Programming, Application Programming and Equipment Analysis
- 1+ year of experience developing applications using web-based technologies and Internet protocols.
- Experience with technologies such as: HTML, JavaScript, Java, CGI Applications and PERL.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline preferred.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
