We are looking for an experienced POS Product Manager to lead the modernization of our Point-of-Sale platform. This role will drive product vision, roadmap, and delivery to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams, using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to analyse legacy systems, define requirements, and accelerate product delivery.
- Own and drive the POS product roadmap, vision, and strategy aligned with business goals
- Gather and prioritize requirements through stakeholder discussions, user research, and site visits
- Analyse legacy POS systems and extract features, workflows, and business rules
- Create and manage epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria (including Gherkin format)
- Utilize AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) for requirement generation, analysis, and validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives)
- Partner with engineering teams to support system refactoring, modernization, and integration
- Drive technical initiatives including cloud adoption, mobile POS, and payment system enhancements
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Define and monitor KPIs such as uptime, transaction speed, and checkout efficiency
- Continuously improve the product by incorporating user feedback and reducing technical debt
- 5+ years of Product Management experience in POS, retail technology, or payments domain
- Strong knowledge of POS systems (checkout flows, payments, hardware, inventory updates)
- Experience managing full product lifecycle (discovery → delivery → iteration)
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proven ability to write clear epics, user stories, and Gherkin acceptance criteria
- Strong understanding of technical concepts (APIs, system architecture, databases, CI/CD)
- Experience working with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus
