We are seeking an experienced QA Analyst and Automation Specialist with strong expertise in testing D2L (Desire2Learn), Curriculum & Catalog Management Systems (CCMS), and integrations with PeopleSoft (PSFT). The role involves functional, integration, and end-to-end testing along with maintaining automation frameworks and developing scalable automation scripts using Playwright and Postman.
The ideal candidate should have strong automation testing experience, knowledge of API and integration testing, and experience working in Agile environments.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and create test cases.
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for functional and regression testing.
- Develop, execute, and maintain Playwright automation scripts for UI and API testing.
- Perform functional, integration, and end-to-end testing for D2L, CCMS, and PSFT integrations.
- Identify, track, and resolve software defects with development teams.
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test results documentation.
- Improve QA processes, automation strategies, and testing standards.
- Ensure QA Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines, repositories, and scalable automation suites.
- Minimum 8 years of automation testing experience.
- Strong experience testing: D2L (Desire2Learn), Curriculum & Catalog Management Systems (CCMS) and PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (PSFT)
- Strong expertise in Playwright automation
- using TypeScript.
- Experience with Postman for API automation testing.
- Strong knowledge of functional, integration, and API testing methodologies.
- Experience testing REST APIs and MuleSoft-based services.
- Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation repositories.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Ability to analyse requirements and create detailed test cases.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Proficiency with GitHub Copilot for automation scripting.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
