The Application Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise applications, leading the full lifecycle from concept through deployment, and providing technical direction to all supporting teams.
We are seeking a Senior PeopleSoft FSCM Upgrade Specialist with strong expertise in infrastructure, environment management, and ERP upgrade execution. This role supports simultaneous ERP implementation and upgrade projects within a complex enterprise environment.
The specialist will focus on upgrading PeopleSoft FSCM on Linux and Oracle platforms, while building, configuring, and maintaining multiple environments in close coordination with the database administration team.
- Lead upgrades of PeopleSoft FSCM on Linux and Oracle platforms.
- Build, configure, and maintain multiple PeopleSoft environments (DEV, TEST, PROD).
- Collaborate closely with the Database Administrator to ensure stable and optimized environments.
- Troubleshoot and support People Tools 8.6x environments.
- Manage middleware components including WebLogic and Tuxedo.
- Perform environment refreshes, PUM updates, patching, and deployment activities.
- Support concurrent ERP implementation and upgrade initiatives.
- Develop and maintain advanced scripts using Linux shell and SQL.
- Work after hours as needed for deployments, cutovers, and critical milestones.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, performance, and operational standards.
- 8+ years of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 PUM upgrade experience.
- 8+ years of middleware setup and administration (WebLogic, Tuxedo).
- 8+ years troubleshooting in People Tools 8.6x environments.
- 8+ years of advanced scripting (Linux shell, SQL).
- Experience with at least four Search Framework technologies (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch).
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and environment management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced, multi project environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Master's degree in a related field is preferred but not required
